Great stay towards the end of Trastevere and closer to train with a Flea Market behind on Sundays

It was right on Via Trastevere but my room was in the back so did not hear the tram/buses all night long. Gioel was amazing. I told him about some issues with wifi, the AC and the drain and he fixed it right away. He was so hard working from the moment he arrived at the property at noon. He cleaned up all the rooms so nice, the breakfast area which was always in disarray and still managed to find ways to fix the issues (even doing it himself since maintenance couldn't come until much later). There was definitely a difference when he didn't come in. The room and bathroom were huge. The bed was comfortable and the linens/towels were very clean and crisp.

This guest house has a good location and you would be comfortable to access all city parts but you may have some trouble to find the place :) The price is reasonable but it is better not expect high. Italian people are really helpful but you have a little problem in English communication and finding addresses.

I arrived an afternoon at Roma Termini. This time I had decided to try a new place. And since Trastevere is considered to be the "real" Rome and because I was meeting friends staying av Circolo Scandinavo, also in the Trastevere area´, I booked a room at Trastevere Guesthouse. Easy to reach with bus fro Termini. I big and beautiful room with a small balcony facing the Giancolo top. Green perrots were flying along side craws and other birds in the trees some meters under me. Althoug i little noisy because of the trafick, I recommend the place. Nice people and a nice price for two nights stay, 64 euro. A very good pizzeria near by where people were lining up outside to get a table, beautiful churches, shops and so on. And of course the Roman way of life: welcoming, calm in a tempered way, laughter and time for good things in life.

Very Noisy

My wife and I were travelling with friends and stayed here for 2 nights, unfortunately (compared to other B&B's we have stayed) found the level of comfort at Trastevere 209 to average at best. While the proximity to Tram 8 and the Trastevere district is good (tram 8 outside the door and about a 15 min. walk to Santa Maria in Trastevere), the down side is the noise level from Viale di Trastevere. Despite being on the 6 floor we found the traffic and tram noise outside our window, made it hard to sleep. Our room was dated but of adequate size, breakfast is served in your room, and consisted of coffee, juice and a couple of pastries. In my opinion this B&B could be good but needs considerable updating before I would improve my rating.

when you first arrive you have to reach them by the intercom. the room was quite small but ok. very quaint. i have to say that my only complaint is the noise level from outside. had a hard time sleeping from that and plus the beds were so hard to sleep on, but that's how it all is in italy, from my experience. there is a nearby bus station. quite far to walk to the center of rome about 30 min or so. there are a lot of restaurants nearby. trastevere itself isn't a very touristy location. more locals hang out there if anything. i would recommend staying here. good price for the location
